Which program? These are the only apps in my cd: AviMerge_en, MDCap_en and MDPlayer_en. I tried all and none seems to have the option to change device time.

Hi, I’ve just received my MD80 noname copy and I have a little question: do you need microsd card in order to use it as webcam? Because however hard I tried, I didn’t manage to connect it as webcam, just Mass Storage…But I don’t have any microsd arround so that’s why I’m asking…

I had the same problem, if you press the mode button while connected to the computer, the mass storage will disappear and it will start looking for the driver for the webcam mode.

Does anyone know if the SDHC micro sd cards will work on these. Or do they have to? be the older standard micro sd cards? Any help on this would be great. I have ordered one of these, I want to order an 8 gig micro sd card. but I dont know what kind. Any help would be great. Thanks

All I did is plug and play. Let the OS recognize the device. You don’t need a microsd card if you’re going to use it as a webcam.

tha manual just says: When the first time use PC-Camera function, please install driver as the guide. The driver named SPCA1528_V2220_MSetup.exe. After that there will be an AMCAP icon on the desktop.
In power off or power on mode, use USB cable to connect computer, the mode is U disk mode. Then short press MODE button, at this moment it can be switched into PC camera mode. Then double click AMCAP icon can be used as PC camera…amcap says”you have no video capture hardware”

Hello Gamebaba7, I´m a brazilian skydiver, and had bought MD80 cam to film my jumps, but I´m having problems. The CAM always turn off when I leave the aeroplane. Could you tell me why? I tnhink is because the? noise, or the wind….
How can I solve this problem?

The software cd includes a programme called Amcap which is a screen capture and webcam utilty. Use it on MSN, Skype etc.

When amcap says”you have no video capture hardware”, it just needs one press on the mode button to start it.

I’m having a similar problem. I bought mine for my motorcycle. I think its done charging, go to test it on my helmet mount, and it just seems to turn off….??? so if you find a solution, or what the problem is, let me know. =) Ill do the same if I figure it out.
